Carolyn Caldwell’s background is in the theatre as a stage manager and company manager, with experience in dance, theatre, and opera, and on tour, in Off-, Off-Off, and Broadway productions. When she moved to German Village in the 1980’s, she used her skills to manage special events such as the German Village Oktoberfest. Carolyn has now been working in fundraising and events for 30 years. She works with non-profits to identify new funding sources and secure grant and sponsorship dollars for causes she feels passionate about as Principal of Raising Awareness, Raising Funds, LLC. Carolyn was awarded the Grant Professional Certified designation in 2016, and the Certified Fundraising Executive designation in 2019. She earned bachelor’s degrees in both Journalism and Theatre from University of South Florida in Tampa.
