She Kills Monsters is an adventure of the heart and mind. Agnes wants to know her sister better – and so she falls into the world of dice-rolling, dragons, and dungeons! Qui Nguyen’s play is a perfect combination of comedy, combat, and coming-of-age anthem. This Young Adventurers version is suitable for all ages.

Agnes Evans (F presenting, mid 20s) – Tilly’s older sister; high school teacher dealing with Tilly’s death; clueless to nerd culture; stage combat involved

Chuck (M presenting, late teens to mid 20s) – Runs a comic book store; grunge rocker roadie; assists Agnes in learning Dungeons and Dragons

Miles (M presenting, mid 20s – early 30s, also plays Gelatinous Cube/Evil Miles) – Agnes’s boyfriend; as average as Agnes

Vera (F presenting, mid 20s – early 30’s, also plays Evil Gabbi/Eye of the Beholder) – Guidance Counselor; Agnes’s friend at the high school; sarcastic and saucy
