Cast

CHAD BAKER (Sydney Carton/Coachman/Marquis de St. Evremonde) is new in town and really excited to be doing his first show with ATC. He’s a lawyer in real life, too, at the Legal Aid Society of Columbus. He’d like to thank the ATC community for being so welcoming.

TOM MURDOCK (Jarvis Lorry/Judge/Road-Mender) is delighted to be spending another beautiful summer in the park! Previous ATC credits include Much Ado About Nothing, Romeo and Juliet, The Tempest, and The Countess of Monte Cristo. Much love to Tess, Ripley, and the D&D family.

CALEB CURBY (Charles Darnay/Guard/Ernest Defarge) is thrilled for his ATC debut! Raised on the plains of Oklahoma, Caleb is an Ohio transplant. His most recent role was in his home state as Romeo in Romeo and Juliet. Other favorite roles include the Comte de Guiche in Cyrano de Bergerac, and Stanley Banks in Father of the Bride.

CHRISTINA YOHO (Madame Defarge/Passenger 2/Runner/Edward Stryver/Clerk/Guard 2) Last time with ATC: Beowulf and the BARD. Original theater fam: Columbus Parks & Rec. (since ’98). Current one: Good Medicine Productions (since ’17). Also fan of soup, Star Trek, feet, unexpected delight. Has a cat.

ALEXA CLINT (Lucie Manette/Passenger 1/Child/Francois) Recent credits include Sondheim on Sondheim (Gallery Players), Second to Sherlock (Agnes, Imagine Productions), and Something Rotten (Portia, Hilliard Arts Council). Huge thanks to Actors’ Theatre, MamaB and BG, and this incredible cast/creative team!

KATHRYN MCCARTY (Miss Pross/Solicitor-General/Gabelle/Woman/Seamstress) is a 2022 graduate of Ohio Northern University, and is so excited to join Actors’ Theatre for the first time! University credits include A Doll’s House, Waiting for Lefty, and The House of Bernarda Alba. So much love to her family, friends, teachers, and the ATC team.

SCOTT DOUGLAS WILSON (Doctor Manette/Gaspard) ATC credits: Frankenstein, King Lear, Mary Stuart. Recent regional credits: Dancing Lessons (Red Herring); Mr. Burns, a Post-Electric Play (CATCO); Vampire Lesbians of Sodom (Evolution); Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde (Red Herring). Enjoy the show!

JABARI JOHNSON (Jerry Cruncher/John Basard/Man/Guard 1) was introduced to Actors’ Theatre in 2011 as an actor and has since performed numerous company events such as other main stage shows, The Shakespeare Underground, and Fight Night. As of 2020, he’s joined staff as the company photographer and artist educator. He’s excited for more live theatre!

Production Team

DAVID J. GLOVER (Director) is an actor, director, and teaching artist from the Columbus area. He is active in the Columbus theatre scene, working with several companies, but his creative home is as a member of the Available Light Theatre Company. David is proud to be helping train the next generation of artists as the dean of students and director of theatre arts at the Wellington School.

BROOKE STILES (Stage Manager) is so excited to enjoy her second summer in the park! She is a graduate from Denison University and has traveled the world with various theatre companies and archival projects. Favorite stage management credits include The African Company Presents Richard III with Actors’ Theatre of Columbus and A Christmas Story: The Musical with Columbus Children’s Theatre. Enjoy!

JANE CARNEY (Assistant Stage Manager) has previously worked with ATC as an assistant stage manager for Eurydice and is so excited to be back in the park this summer. When not shooing geese off stage, Jane can be found attending college in Dayton. Enjoy the show!

TERRA MILLER (Run Crew) is a junior and is very excited to participate in this production! She previously participated in Fools and Mamma Mia! at Columbus Alternative High School and looks forward to many more! Terra would like to thank her cats for their great support throughout this production.

BRENDAN MICHNA (Scenic Designer) does a lot of theatre work all over the city.

STEVE PUHL JR. (Master Carpenter) is excited to be back in the theater world doing all the fun things!

CATHERINE RINELLA (Sound Designer/Sound Engineer) is an audio llama that has wandered back to the ATC corral. Cathy is excited to return as sound designer for the 2022 season. She is also an audio engineer, board operator, and producer at WCBE 90.5 FM Columbus, and audio masterer for Rusty Quill Podcasts.

JAZ R. NAPPIER (Sound Board Operator) is a 2022 college graduate with a BA in theatre and dance. She has experience in stage management, directing, theatre education, and stagecraft.

ROWAN WINTERWOOD (Lighting Designer) is a designer, director, and aerialist. She has worked with ATC as a lighting designer (2021 season), director (OR, 2020), stage manager (Romeo & Juliet, 2019) and sound engineer, and is excited to be returning for her sixth season in the park.

TONYAMARIE (Costume/Props Designer) is the costume designer and mixed media sculptress behind Gypsy Cat Studios, her freelance artistry business since 2007. She is a mother of two and a grandmother of four, and loves introducing her grandchildren to the magic of theater, live performance, art, and animals.

NINA MARTIN (Wardrobe Manager/Production Manager/House Manager) will be back for her third season in the park, and she is always grateful to her ATC family for new opportunities. Special thanks to her cats, Hamlet and Puck, for always offering her a snuggle while filling out reports after a long rehearsal.

JOY HEINO (Properties Manager) has recently graduated with her BA in theatre/technical theatre and music, and has spent the last year working around Columbus in stage management and sound design with Columbus Children’s Theatre, CATCO, and Short North Stage. Now she is very excited to begin her first season as props manager and staff with ATC!

SARAH VARGO (Fight Choreographer) has performed, choreographed, and taught fight choreography in both Ireland and the US. She would like to thank her family and friends for all their support and is excited to work with Actors’ Theatre this season.

BETH JOSEPHSEN (Movement/Intimacy Coach) has been with ATC for 14 years in various roles as an actor, director, and staff member. When not in the park, she takes Shakespeare programming to local schools. Beth would like to thank her husband for his love and support. IG: beth.josephsen

ADAM SIMON (Managing Director) is very grateful that he gets to create art with the people he loves most, to be enjoyed by the community that he calls home. Thank you for supporting ATC and our ongoing efforts to keep art free and accessible to all people. And a special thank you to Beth for always pushing him to be better.

PHILIP J. HICKMAN (Artistic Director) is the artistic director of Actors’ Theatre. He has been part of ATC since 2010, and is delighted to bring Queen Margaret to the Schiller Park Amphitheatre. Love and gratitude to Mikelle.

House Managers

COLLEEN UNDERWOOD (House Manager) is excited to be back in the park for another great summer of theatre! Colleen has been working with Actors’ Theatre for the past four years, acting and in stage management, and is heading into her second year as a company member.

CHRIS JOHNSON (House Manager) is thrilled to be spending some of his summer with Actors’ Theatre yet again, having made his debut in 2021 with The Secret Garden. He is beyond excited to be working with ATC because as Maya Angelou once said “The ache for home lives in all of us, the safe place where we can go as we are and not be questioned” and ATC is home.

SARAH MARIE WILSON (House Manager) is jazzed to be returning to the Schiller Park stage! She is also ATC’s social media manager, previously working as an artist educator (2020-2021) and performer in Little Women (2019) and Hamlet, 1603 (2022). Follow us @actorstheatrecolumbus!

MARGARET WELSH (Assistant House Manager) is a 2021 graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University where they received a BA in theatre and dance. Onstage credits at OWU include Twelfth Night 2020 (Maria), Medusa’s Tale (Medusa), and Eurydice (Big Stone). They are also a house manager with CAPA and are so happy to be working with ATC this summer.

ABIGAIL JARVIS (Assistant House Manager) is a student at Cleveland State University, earning a BA in theatre arts. She is thrilled to be a part of the ATC family, and to be working on live theatre in Columbus again! 

KATHERINE DUNHAM (Assistant House Manager) is excited to be back with Actors’ Theatre. She is a senior at the Arts and College Preparatory Academy. Some of her favorite productions that she has been in have been Frozen JR. with CCT and The Last Lifeboat with Lovewell. She would like to thank her parents and family for supporting her in everything she does. 

MEGAN GIFFORD (Assistant House Manager) is excited to be working with Actors’ Theatre for the second time! She previously played Martha in ATC’s production of The Secret Garden last summer. Enjoy the show!

ELLIE GUYTON (Assistant House Manager) has taken several classes at Actors’ Theatre’s Globe School and has been ushering with the company for three years. They are super excited to join the house management team this season and they hope you enjoy the show!
