Jeff R. Lamb
Board President

Jeff R. Lamb is an entrepreneur, self-described nerd, and long time admirer of the performing arts. He originally grew up on a farm in rural Illinois (Da Bears!). His love of theatre was encouraged by his parents regularly taking the family to the closest dinner theatre; over an hour away. The love of being in the audience translated to the leading role in the school play all four years of high school. He graduated from the University of Illinois with a BS in computer engineering paid for by an Air Force ROTC scholarship. After serving as an officer in the US Air Force, he started his own web development company which he was able to sell to his largest client. That sale brought him to Columbus, OH in the early 2000s where he discovered Actors’ Theatre. He has been hooked ever since. Jeff continues to nurture his love of the performing arts with season tickets to Broadway Across America and The Short North Stage; with of course many Actors’ Theatre performances each year. He deeply believes that Actors’ Theatre serves a unique and incredibly important role in his German Village community, and all of Columbus, and is always excited to help Actors’ Theatre continue and expand its important work.
