Kekoa Kaluhiokalani
Kekoa Kaluhiokalani is an associate professor and chair of Muskingum University’s Department of English. Before arriving at Muskingum in 2006, he taught at The Ohio State University in theatre and later in comparative studies. He has participated in theatre on many different levels: acting, directing, writing, producing, and venue management. In the early 2000s, Kekoa co-directed HandDog Theatre Company in Columbus. Since 2005, he has participated in various capacities at the Edinburgh International Theatre Fringe Festival, including artistic and education director for Rocket Venues (2005-2009) and co-founder and artistic director for Gryphon Venues (2010-2014). Most recently, he has been working with Fringe University, an organization that supports artists and helps university performance groups bring their productions to the Fringe.
