CATHY BEAN (Baneatta Mabry) is a “southern girl” native of Hampton, VA, but currently resides in Pickerington, OH. She is honored and excited to be in her first production with Actors’ Theater of Columbus. Cathy has had the pleasure of acting in: Intimate Apparel (Mrs. Dickens) – The Gallery Players; Cinderella (Fairy Godmother) – Muha & Easley Productions; Rumors (Claire) – SoArtsPro; Waiting to Be Invited (Mrs. Ruth) – PAST Productions/Red Herring Productions; FOUR LETTER WORDS (Ava) written by Vivian C. Lermond at the West Grandview Fringe Festival; Theater Meets the Church (Mrs. Gilyard) at the Atlanta Black Theater Festival and Mama’s Drama audiobook (Sheila), both by Nanette Marie Hodge; Clean Sheets (Angel) at The International Black Theater Festival; and Five Women of Color (Narrator) by Jeanette W. Hills. Cathy sends a HUGE SHOUT OUT OF THANKS to her three children for their consistent love, support, and encouragement!

CALIPH SCOTT (Reginald Mabry) is excited to be doing his first performance with Actors’ Theatre. He most recently performed as a swing in The Color Purple: The Musical with Short North Stage, Plankton in SpongeBob: The Musical with Columbus Children’s Theatre, and Hercule Poirot in Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express at The Weathervane Playhouse. He manages computer networks, Is an award-winning stand-up comedian, and DJs various events and weddings around Ohio. Caliph hopes you enjoy the show and have a beautiful summer! MARSHAWN CLODFELTER (Kenny Mabry) 

NICHOLAS McINTURFF (Logan Leibowitz) is delighted to make his debut on the Actors’ Theatre stage. Nicholas has recently been seen as Noel Gruber (Ride the Cyclone – 2022 and 2024), Carmen Ghia (The Producers), and Motel (Fiddler on the Roof). Other favorite roles include Frederic (Pirates of Penzance), Frederick (Young Frankenstein), Mary Sunshine (Chicago), and Chip (25th Annual… Spelling Bee). Nicholas studied music and theatre at Muskingum University. They express their sincerest gratitude to their friends, cast, crew, creative team, Lucas, and the Columbus theatre community.

NOELLE ANDERSON (Beverly Jenkins) is thrilled to perform her first show with Actors’ Theatre! A Columbus native, Noelle Anderson has been a professional performer for over 20 years as a singer, musician, and actor. Currently, she works as Shadowbox Live’s Director of Data Systems. Some of her favorite past roles include Jean in POTUS, and Maureen in Rent. In her off time, she runs a web design and branding agency (Sage Nine Creative) with her husband Brandon, and they both spend too much time spoiling their Jack Russell Terrier, Archie.

SERMONTEE BROWN (La’Trice Franklin) is an experienced actress that has participated in many Ohio productions: The Chocolate Nutcracker, The Diviners, The Library, Decision Height, The Children’s Hour, Romeo & Juliet, The Next Room or Vibrator Play, and many Shadowbox Live productions as well. She’s also performed with Short North Stage, Columbus Children’s Theatre, and The Contemporary Theatre of Ohio, and recently Little Theatre Off Broadway. This is her first time working with Actors’ Theatre of Columbus. She’s very grateful for the opportunity to share her art and looks forward to working together again. She’s been performing since she
was three years old and it’s been her passion ever since. Ms. Brown is also a producer, model, and director. She wants to thank her family and friends for their continuous love and support. As well as thank you for coming out and supporting local theatre. Enjoy!

ALICIA HOFFMAN (Simone Mabry) is beyond excited to be in their second production with Actors” Theatre. A few of their favorite roles include Audrey (Little Shop of Horrors), Cheryl (Evil Dead), Sister (Chantelle Bate), and Mrs. Johnson/BoBo (A Raisin in the Sun). When not on stage, they enjoy hanging out with family and friends as well as playing video games. They are also on the spectrum and heavily involved in that community as well. They hope you enjoy the show!

BROOKLYN GRACE (Brianna Jenkins) is thrilled to be performing with Actors’ Theatre again this season. She is a graduate of Capital University where she received her BA in vocal music performance and minor in theatre studies. Some of her various performance credits include Disaster! (LeVora), Mary Poppins (Mrs. Corry), A Tale of Two Cities (Madame Defarge), The Color Purple (Jarene), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Titania), and The African Company Presents Richard III (Sarah). She gives all glory to God and thanks her loved ones for their continued support. She encourages you to reach not for the stars, but for the galaxy!

Production Team

PHILIP J. HICKMAN (Artistic Director) is the artistic director of Actors’ Theatre. He has been part of ATC since 2010, and most recently directed Beauty & the Beast this summer and Robin Hood this past summer in Schiller Park. Love and gratitude to Mikelle.

ALAN TYSON (Director/Sound Director) is thrilled to be making his ATC directing debut. ADAM SIMON (Managing Director) is in his fifteenth year with ATC. He thrives on the opportunity to enrich his local community with accessible art for all, and hopes that you enjoy consuming it as much as he enjoys creating it. Much love to Beth and Ruby.

NINA MARTIN (Production Manager) is stoked to be back for their sixth season with ATC! Some of her highlights over the years in the Columbus theatre scene are Fairview (Available Light), Dracula: A Feminist Revenge Fantasy… (ATC), Eurydice (ATC), and Falsettos (Gallery Players). Special thanks to her partner Erin and their cats, Hamlet and Puck, for always offering her a snuggle after a long rehearsal!

LAURA WALLACE (Stage Manager) is so excited for her very first season with Actors’ Theatre. She is currently finishing her BFA at Capital University in theatre studies and organizational communication. So far, she has stage managed a total of eight shows during her time at Capital. The most recent being The Play That Goes Wrong. Special shout out to her family back in New Philadelphia, OH, roommates, friends, and partner. Sending love to her new ATC family!

KATHERINE DUNHAM (Assistant Stage Manager) is very thankful for being able to work on this wonderful show with amazing people! Katherine has been a part of shows such as Fyoo zh en: Spatial Proximity (Production Stage Manager), The Dining Room (Production Stage Manager), Sense and Sensibility (Assistant Stage Manager), Bare (Assistant Stage Manager), and The Secret Garden (Puppeteer). She would also like to thank her family and friends, who have been a tremendous support system since the beginning of her journey.

CODY SCHMID (Facilities Manager) is honored to be involved with ATC again. He was last seen in the park as Rosencraft in Hamlet, 1603. He wants to thank his wife, daughter, and mother-in-law for all the love and support.

KATIE GOLONKA (Scenic Designer/Build Crew/Charge Artist) is a Columbus designer and muralist who has worked as a scenic painter for CATCO, Opera Columbus, and other local companies. Most recently she designed the set for Available Light Theatre’s 2023 production of Ghost Quartet and the sets for ATC’s 2024 season. Katie has been operating her mural business, Cherry Alley Paint, since 2014 and is a proud member of IATSE Local 12.

STEVE PUHL JR. (Master Carpenter) is excited to be back in the theater world doing all the fun things!

MADI ANDRE (Lighting Designer) is thrilled to return to the park for their second season! Her favorite credits include stage managing Robin Hood, Ruthie in Bat Boy: The Musical, and dancing with The Bone & Fiddle Dance Collective. She is also excited to design lights for the next show, Chicken & Biscuits. Madi loves animals, creating art, and going on adventures with people she loves. She urges you to get involved with local art and try something new! Love to her various theater families & her little family at home.

CATHERINE RINELLA (Sound Editor) is an audio llama that has wandered back to the ATC corral. What is an Audio Llama? We don’t know, and now it won’t leave. This one is ATC’s resident sound designer – making noise, creating mild havoc, and stealing our coffee supplies. Has also been spotted as a board-op at WCBE 90.5 FM, and audio masterer for Rusty Quill podcasts. Warning: May Attract Spiders.

NIKKI PRICE (Sound Board Operator)

TABITHA ABNEY (Costume Designer) weaves enchanting tales through fabric and color. With a flair for storytelling, Tabi transforms characters into living works of art, from classical to avant-garde. Armed with an acute understanding of character psychology, she collaborates seamlessly with directors and actors to bring narratives to life. Adept at balancing tradition and modernity, Tabi infuses productions with visually stunning and emotionally resonant costumes, leaving an indelible mark on the stage.

JAYLENE JENNINGS (Costume Manager)

ALEXANDER “XAN” NELSON (Props Designer/Build Crew) is a Philadelphia native who has been an active part of the performing arts scene in Columbus for the past ten years. This is his second year with Actors’ Theatre of Columbus as Props Designer and third as part of the set build team making sure the setting is just right to let the actors shine. Xan’s background is in music education and performance, but his passion for building and making things pushed him to make a career change and take up woodwind instrument repair in 2018. When he is not working on musical instruments, sets, or props, Xan can be found playing in pit orchestras and at the occasional Gallery Hop with his saxophone quartet, Drastic Measures.

LINDSEY BLAGG (Props Intern)

LEO SANTUCCI (Violence Designer/Armorer) is a fight choreographer, armorer, and actor in the Columbus area, and is elated to be choreographing violence for a second season with ATC. He has been involved in a number of sword fights, both on and off stage, as he is also a semi-competitive fencer in addition to being an actor combatant with the Society of American Fight Directors. He thanks you for supporting the arts, and helping to keep theatre accessible!

BETH JOSEPHSEN (Movement Coach/Intimacy Director) has been with ATC for 16 years in various roles as an actor, director, and staff member. Favorite shows over the years include playing Marian in Robin Hood, Mrs. Kate Sullen in The Beaux’ Stratagem, Dr. Watson in The Hound of the Baskervilles, the villainous Mrs. Cheveley in An Ideal Husband, and Mrs. Dashwood/Anne Steele in last year’s production of Sense & Sensibility as well as directing Little Women and the Jebby Award-winning production of Eurydice.  When not in the park, she takes Shakespeare programming to local schools. Beth would like to thank her husband and niece for their love and support. 

SCOTT VEZDOS (Director of Marketing & Development) has served as the Director of Marketing & Development for Actors’ Theatre for nine years. He is also the founder and producer of the HER2-Revue, a new burlesque showcase based in Columbus, OH, He has more than 25 years of experience in the nonprofit arts sector, including 10 years as a radio personality for WCBE Public Radio. Scott also currently serves as a member of the marketing team of CAPA (Columbus Association for the Performing Arts) and as an arts consultant and strategist for several nonprofit arts organizations in central Ohio.

SARAH MARIE WILSON (Social Media Manager) is thrilled to return as Social Media Manager for a third season! She has served in various capacities at ATC since 2019, including assistant director (Dracula: A Feminist Revenge Fantasy…), performer (Sense & Sensibility; Hamlet, 1603; Little Women), artist educator, and house manager. House Managers

BEATRICE FELDBUSH (Front of House Manager) is excited to return for her fourth season at ATC, now as the Front of House Manager! Her previous credits with the company include Stage Manager (Sense & Sensibility and Queen Margaret), Assistant Stage Manager (The Secret Garden), and usher. Beatrice will graduate at the end of the summer with her Masters degree in arts administration with an emphasis on theatre and production management from Ohio University.
