BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND: ACTORS’ THEATRE Summer Adult Acting Classes! Come as you are. Choose any class. Pay what you can! Class culminates in a performance on August 10 at 6:00pm on the Schiller Park Stage, prior to The Merry Wives of Windsor. Class Schedule: Sundays, June 8-August 10, 2014, 12:00-2:00pm Open to all adults and high school students Actors of all levels are invited! Each week will focus on a different theme, including audition techniques, stage combat, film vs. stage scenes, monologues ad improvisation. Each class will feature performance games and acting exercises designed to help actors of all levels.   June 8 – Theatre 101 June 15 – Improv June 22 – Audition and Resumes June 29 – Character Creation July 6 – No Class July 13 – Strategies for Shakespeare July 20 – Memorizing Techniques July 27 – Acting for Camera August 3 – Rehearsal August 10 – Class Performance for friends and family
 

andyInstructor: Andy Falter (BSC)

Andy is a longtime actor, director, and teacher based in Columbus, Ohio.  He has taught professional, amateur, and K-12 actors for over fifteen years, including in Worthington City Schools.  Andy has been seen on stages and screens throughout the United States, from multiple performances at The White House to commercials and films, including the award winning short ‘Til Death and The Bloodline. He was featured in Actors’ Theatre of Columbus’ 2013 production of Twelfth Night, and 2012 productions of The Merchant of Venice and The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged).  Over the years, he’s been the go-to acting coach for thousands of students of all ages and experience levels.
